Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings said in a briefing yesterday that he intends to send Orange County officials to the area’s theme parks for surprise COVID-19 checks.
The strike teams will be looking for compliance with the agreed reopening standards that were introduced for the theme parks to reopen following the COVID-19 shutdown.
Previously, the strike teams have visited thousands of other businesses to check for compliance with the CDC guidelines.
Demings said, “In addition to smaller businesses, the strike teams will be once again visiting major theme parks unannounced very soon.”
