Today was a big day for EPCOT’S main entrance, with an all new soundtrack, the debut of the park’s attraction icon flags and finally this evening the new lighting package for the perimeter buildings.
Surrounding the entrance area, the lighting outlines the roofline in a rainbow of color.
There are a number of different sequences, with shades of blue, red and purple along with chasing effects.
The lights are most striking when fully dark, but can also be seen at dusk.
We have to wait until later in the year to see the new Spaceship Earth lighting effects, which will see a more elaborate use of light and music, but the new lights already on show bring an updated look to the area that is sure to be appreciated by guests.
