What You Need To Know

  • Post Tropical Storm 15 formed Sunday, Oct. 30 in the Caribbean Sea
  • It could strengthen into a tropical storm early in the week
  • Jamaica and the Grand Cayman Islands are under tropical alerts

PPTC 15 is weak, but will still bring unsettled weather in Central America. We expect it to strengthen into a tropical storm on Monday as it moves west.

The storm could bring heavy rain to Jamaica and the Cayman Islands over the next few days.

A tropical storm watch has been issued for Jamaica and Grand Cayman Islands.
