Easter weekend is upon us here in Central Florida, which usually means dry and warm conditions across the area.

Easter is one of the few holidays on the calendar that moves significantly. The holiday is tied to lunar cycles, and Easter can land anywhere between March 22 to April 25.
However, there are common dates for Easter. The most common period for the holiday to fall is early-to-mid April.
This is when Central Florida experiences some of its best weather.
Orlando remains in the heart of the dry season, meaning comfortable air masses move in courtesy of cold fronts that track across the state.
This keeps temperatures from rising rapidly and also keeps the humidity from the Caribbean away from the area.
The average high in Orlando in early-to-mid April is in the low 80s, with morning lows often in the upper 50s and low 60s.
Because we are in the dry season, rainfall is minimal. In fact, during this stretch of April, the daily rainfall amount is only 0.09 inches.
That doesn’t mean the weather is always pleasant for Easter. The cold fronts that move in can be strong, bringing strong to severe storms in April.
And when fronts stay away for a significant amount of time, heat and humidity have an opportunity to build in Orlando.
But for this year’s Easter festivities, the weather couldn’t be nicer.
We are expecting clear skies and sunrise temperatures in the low 50s. The mostly sunny skies will continue during the afternoon, with comfortable highs in the upper 70s.
