Magic Kingdom firework testing scheduled but not a sign of imminent return of shows

Fireworks testing is scheduled for the Magic Kingdom area early next week on Monday night after hours, but it isn’t a sign of a return of shows just yet.

Disney often conducts tests of various pyrotechnics which may be used in future shows, along with testing of product from new suppliers. Disney has some testing ground outside of the park, which is likely where this test will take place.

Disney is yet to make any announcements on the return of its famous fireworks spectaculars, but speculation continues to suggest that EPOCT Forever may be the first return in the first half of 2021.
