Work at Cinderella Castle continues on the stage and moat

Cinderella Castle is once again the center of activity at the Magic Kingdom as work continues on the castle stage and work is about to begin on the 50th anniversary enhancements.

The moat is currently blocked off on both sides of the castle to allow access for workers and machinery.

Six high reach boom lifts are in position at the base of the castle, similar to what we saw during the recent repainting work.

None of the castle enhancements have yet been installed, but with the equipment in position it shouldn’t be long before we see some progress.

On the castle forecourt stage, the rebuild is underway after the stage was cleared down to the supports.

The World’s Most Magical Celebration begins October 1 2021, and continues for 18 months. Cinderella Castle will get a new overlay for the celebration, building further on the new look that debuted last year.
