After a stretch of spring-like temperatures, a winter chill will sweep into Central Florida after the start of the new year.

A cold front will roll through Central Florida late Sunday evening into Monday morning.


What You Need To Know

  • Temperatures will fall back into the 60s for highs on Monday and Tuesday of the upcoming week
  • Morning temperatures will be in the 40s for most of Central Florida
  • Marion County could feel temperatures in the 30s by early Tuesday morning

This front will bring the chance for rain by Sunday evening.

Ahead of the cold front, temperatures will be in the 80s on Sunday.

However, by Monday, you will be reaching for a jacket.

Temperatures will slide back into the 60s for afternoon highs, while overnight lows will tumble into the 40s.

Temperatures will only reach the low to middle 60s for highs on Monday, while morning temperatures will be in the 40s. 

Places like Marion County will likely feel temperatures in the 30s, especially by Tuesday morning.

Temperatures will slowly warm back up into the 70s for highs starting Wednesday and Thursday.
