Another tropical storm formed in the eastern Atlantic Thursday evening. Margot is west of the Cabo Verde Islands and will stay in open water.
Tropical Storm Margot is quickly headed toward the west-northwest, but will slow down this weekend and its track bends more toward the north.
It’s forecast to become a hurricane later this weekend and remain over open waters of the central Atlantic.
It will not have any impact to the U.S.
