Tropical Storm Hermine formed on Sept. 23 near the coast of Africa.
This will be a very short-lived storm, as it’s forecast to track up the coast of Africa through Saturday before dissipating on Sunday and moving out to sea.
It’ll combine with a trough to bring 2-4 inches of rain to the Canary Islands.
The U.S. will not see any impacts from this storm.
Along with Hermine, we continue to monitor Tropical Storm Ian, Tropical Storm Gaston in the central Atlantic, as well as one other area that has the potential for development. You can see the latest here.
