The Labor Day holiday is approaching, and that means an extended weekend for many of us. We’ll be spending some time outdoors grilling, swimming and just having fun. Let’s look at the weekend forecast.
Overall, the weekend looks great. Most cities will see sunshine through the holiday weekend, but some areas will deal with on-and-off showers.
On Saturday, most of the country will stay dry. The exception will be the central U.S., where we’re expecting some scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the morning.
The afternoon looks drier, but shower activity picks up for the evening for the Midwest.
Florida will deal with the usual scattered showers and storms through the evening, but those storms shouldn’t lead to a washout.
The eastern U.S. will be the focus on Sunday. Showers will pop up through the day from Maine to Texas. However, these showers should stay fairly light and move out quickly.
Have a backup plan just in case the wet weather hits your area while you’re outside.
Labor Day looks great. Sunny and dry conditions take over most of the country.
The Northeast will be the exception, with showers possible for the afternoon from Maine to northern New York.
We might also see a few isolated showers in Florida and Texas.
