Disney’s Blizzard Beach reopened yesterday, welcoming guests back after a near year-long closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As at the main theme parks, Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is operating in alignment with the health and safety measures implemented throughout Walt Disney World Resort such as enhanced cleaning, temperature checks and physical distancing.
Physical distancing markers are in place throughout the park to keep guests safe distances apart. Guests (ages 2 and up) and cast members are required to wear face coverings while visiting Blizzard Beach. Guests may remove masks while traveling to the water slides but masks will not be permitted in the water or on the attractions.
Mobile Ordering is available for quick service dining, and unlike the main parks, a Park pass reservation is not required prior to visiting Blizzard Beach.
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon currently remains closed, and no opening date has yet been announced.
